This pretty ornamental piper is a keen climber and is happy about climbing aids on which it can grow. Alternatively, it can also be cultivated in a hanging basket. Its stems are covered with fine hairs and its silvery-white leaf markings, which are even more striking in mature plants, make it a real feast for the eyes. The piper Sylvaticum is an excellent addition to any collection.
